Tabular alumina is sintered and produced with the high purity α- Al2O3 as the raw material, almost in α-phase wholly.
It has tabular crystal structure, which is characterized by small porosity and more closed pores, high purity, good bulk stability, tiny reheat shrinkage, high refractoriness.
It is mainly applied in sliding plates, air bricks, water gaps, ladle castables, etc.
